Getting an account
You open an account by applying at the ‘sign up’ page and simply follow the instructions. After your application has been approved, you will receive an email with your username and password. Once you sign you in, go to your ‘my account’ area to see your rate list, download invoices and make pre-payments.
Each customer can make a couple of test calls before making a pre-payment.

Voipnet is only a prepaid service.
Available accounts
There are two account currencies: EUR and USD. Your rate lists, payments and billing will be in whatever currency you have chosen.

Voipnet offers a choice of 1 routes with quality levels (EUR & USD) :
Voipnet Standard: low rate, high quality
Every route has it's own dialling format:
For example for calls to Germany:

For the ratelists of each route, please visit the 'Rates'-page. Our rates are billed per second.
Getting connected
The username & password can also be used to connect to our SIP-server in order to make calls.
Here are the settings:
Username: Your Voipnet username
Password: Your password
SIP/Proxy registrar: sip.voipnet.net
Domain/Realm (optional): voipnet.net
STUN server: voipnet.net
We support the following codecs:
G.711 (64 kbps)
G.726 (32 kbps)
G.729 (8 kbps)
G.723 (5.3 & 6.3 kbps)
GSMFR (13 kbps)
iLBC (20ms & 30ms)
If you cannot connect by using Username & Password, we can also authenticate your fixed IP address(es).

Important!
If you are using a hosted voip softswitch provider like eq. Kayote Networks (etc), make sure you are ONLY using IP addresses which are uniquely assigned to your account (check this with you provider).
